About Mrs. Roquemore

I am Coralea Roquemore, an Early Intervention Specialist in reading at Barton Creek.  I retired from full time teaching at BCE in 2005 after a 25 year career that spanned 35 years.  I am a native of Austin, but lived all over the world following my husband around who was an Air Force chaplain.  I taught grades K – 5 in 3 states and 3 countries.  I taught for Eanes ISD in Barton Creek and Bridge Point for 11 years before I retired.  I am the mother of two children who live in the Austin area, who have blessed me with 6 grandchildren.    We live on 15 acres in the beautiful hill country in Spicewood, Texas.

Teaching is not what I do; it is who I am!  Since “retiring” I’ve stayed active in education by tutoring and working part time as an Intervention Specialist.    It  is my pleasure to be back with my academic family and to have the opportunity to support you and your child.

My official hours are from 8:00 - 12:00.  I have a plan time from 10:30 - 11:00.  If you would like to talk with me, that would be the best time.  If that time doesn't work for you, we can work together to find a time that works for both of us.  The best way to reach me is by email at croquemore@eanesisd.net or by cell phone at 789-6596.  If you call during work hours, leave a voice message and I'll return your call.
